Krea is a specialist in Healthcare Research connections. Krea.in is our dedicated portal to connect with key opinion leaders, leading doctors and the medical fraternity.

What information do we collect and how?

When you register, you provide details that include name, age, email address, residence address and contact numbers and your account is activated via an Activation Link sent to your registered email for your consent (This is also called a Double Opt-In). Additional information regarding your profession, years of service, specialization, leadership roles (associations /events) and publications are also collected.

The collected information is used for marketing research purposes only and we do not sell or share your Personal Information, unless required by law.

Why is this information collected?

The purpose of collecting your information is to reach out to you only for specific surveys: Surveys that are best-suited to your personal or professional profile describing your credentials, professional experience, academic background, clinic name and field of medical specialty to sample accordingly and process honoraria/incentives for your participation.

Usage of information collected:

The information collected is used only for the purpose of market research as these information form the profiler information used for categorizing you, in order to automate the process of sending surveys specific to your demographics. Once the onboarding process is completed, you become empanelled (and henceforth will be referred to as a respondent/panelist).

The collected personal data is used for the following purposes:

  1. To send invitations to participate in market research through a questionnaire
  2. To execute a profiling study to garner more information
  3. To respond to a support based issue
  4. To validate answers you provided in a recent survey we carried out on behalf of our clients
  5. To update and ensure that our records of personal information is true and correct.

Occasionally, we may contact you for one of these other purposes:

  1. To gather information to provide any other form of incentive offering
  2. To ask for your permission to use personal information for a purpose that was not explained to you when your information was first collected.

When you complete a survey that we carry out, that survey might ask for personal opinions, as well as demographic information, such as age and household composition. You may refuse to answer certain questions or discontinue participation in a study at any time. Refusing to answer questions might disqualify you from completing the survey and getting rewarded for it.

Disclosure of personal information:

We do NOT give, sell, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your prior consent, except as otherwise set out below:

Survey Responses: Your responses to survey questions are combined with those of other people and are tabulated only in the aggregate. Only non-identifiable and aggregated data will be shared with our clients, except in scenarios when fraudulent responses are escalated by the Client, we may have to share data for quality assurance purposes. Any answers you provide to survey questions will remain entirely confidential.

Sale of a Business: We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of our business or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

Legal: We may provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law. We may also disclose personal information to assist us in collecting a debt owed by you, or otherwise where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

What are the various modes of communicating with you?

Our primary mode of communication is through Email (survey invitations) and we may reach out on calls and newer technology channels, as applicable, to invite you to participate in surveys, as follow-up and for processing honoraria.

We value our association with you and take special care to safeguard the privacy of your personal data.

Where is the data stored?

All our data are stored in a secure cloud space. We have created reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access. However, there is always some element of risk involved in sending personally identifiable information online as with any transmission over the internet.

The use of Cookies:

“Cookies” are small files that may be placed on your computer by a website to facilitate and enhance your communication with our website. We may use cookies to customize your visit to our service to make your visit more convenient or to enable us to enhance our interaction. We do not use cookies to automatically retrieve Personally Identifiable Information (PII)  from your computer without your knowledge however use it to cross verify & monitor your participation through your IP address.

Does Krea work with third parties?

Regarding third-party suppliers, we do not use vendors but if needed (for any custom/acute project), we work only with partners who follow the ESOMAR (World Association for Research) and the ICC code of conduct and standards. Even in such instances, our partners assist only in conducting the interview with you (in-person with a Tab/iPad) while all the recruitment work is done at Krea’s end, ensuring all PII are maintained safe & confidential at our end and never share your PII to any third parties for any surveys, without your permission unless needed by law regulators.

What are the security systems in place?

We use industry-standard security technologies and procedures designed to help protect your information from unauthorized access. To ensure utmost security, all our systems use Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) for all sampling, panel management and critical panelist information and only our panel management team has access to the information.

Sampling security:

  • Access to project information is only granted to our resource who creates each project.
  • Panelists are automatically logged off after a given period of non-activity.
  • Panelists must sign in using a username and password.
  • Respondents/Panelists reach their surveys by GUIDS (globally unique identifiers).

Panel management/DATA security:

  • Access panel and panelist information is only handled by Krea, the panel owner.
  •       We use services of a leading international company, CINT, specialist in panel management solutions for managing our panel.
  •       The CINT SaaS environment has been designed with security, high-availability and performance in mind.
  •       All servers, services and networks are monitored 24/7 by both CINT and our hosting partner with operation teams on continuous availability.
  •        Cint OpinionHUB uses Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) for access security.

How can you access your information?

You can access your profile information in order to change/alter through our designated login portal at http://kreaplus.in/doctors/ on entering your login credentials (provided at the time of registration).

How can I opt out?

We respect your choice. If you decide not to participate in our surveys anymore, you can unregister using the Unsubscribe link, embedded/provided in all survey invite emails along with a link to this Privacy Policy or through the login portal.

Working with children and young adults:

We comply with ESOMAR’s guidelines on interviewing children. In case of patient surveys conducted amongst children, we secure permission from the parents/guardian and the interview is conducted in their presence.

Updates to the policy:

Please check this page periodically for updates/changes as Krea reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of the Privacy Policy and the website at any time.
